Early on the morning of March 23, 2020 I was sitting at home. I was quarantining due to the pandemic. I own a staffing company, and this was the first day our team would work fully remote. We were unsure what the immediate future would bring. We served essential businesses, so we believed we would survive the downturn in business, but who knew? We had hundreds of employees who faced uncertainty, and I was not convinced our business would survive.
Every morning I spend time reading scripture and reflecting on the day to come. As I sat there I heard the birds chirping in the bushes outside my window. Hearing them, I posted to Facebook "Grateful for the birds singing outside reminding me that everything will be alright."
I resolved to post a gratitude post to Facebook daily. And for 4+ years I have done so.
Reminding myself to be grateful daily has helped me immensely. But what surprised me was the encouragement and comments I received from my Facebook friends. My simple and sometimes selfish reflections have helped others, reminding them to be grateful. Wow!
I would like to share this grace with you. I am venturing into this website and figuring out how to share my daily gratitude posts to as many platforms as I can so you can remember to be grateful and, in turn, share your gratitude.
Thank you for stopping by.
You can send me a message or ask me a general question using this form.
I will do my best to get back to you soon!
Grateful Lee
